Hiking AH!

I can't believe dad made us go hiking AGAIN! Mom actully picked out the trail. Why oh why did she have to pick out a trail that was so steep? 2 minutes into the trail my back hurt and about 3 minutes into it I slipped! I think I slipped about 5 times. Believe it or not mom slipped 2. She slipped 2 times! Any way I got a big blister on my little toe! I hate hiking!

Christmas Program

My music teacher stopped the music. My thoughts were, "Why did we stop in the middle of a song during the program?" I looked around. I saw somebody's legs. My teacher pulled them out. There I saw something that I had seen before. Something I had never wanted to see again let alone happen to me. I was scared to death. The legs belonged to someone in my church! Turns out he fainted and hit his head on the step! I had butterflies! Luckly I saw him in church today being his normal self. Few! Make sure you comment! Bye!

Knott's Berry Farm

You know. . . Knott's was fun! My new favorite ride is Pony Express. Notice that I put it in orange. It's because that was the color of the tracks. You get on a horse (not a real horse) then the strap you in. Now on the other hand. . . there was a ride that I was too chicken to go on. But if I describe it, you will understand. So this ride is called the Silver Bullet. Now imagine, never been on a ride that has no bottom, on the other hand is a ride that your feet fly. OK. So, now imagine that you have never been on those kinds of rides and you are now faced with a ride that has THREE loops. Now you understand huh?

My award

If you look up you see me standing next to a lion? I bet you're thinking, " The lion is going to eat her, watch out! " Well think again! I got an award. That's why I am standing next to this ferocious lion.

Well, he is not ferocious he is our cute mascot, Leo. It was a little embarrassing going up in front of people I don't know. I was sitting next to my friend when our principle said, "This student is a marvelous math magician." I leaned over next to my friend and said, " Definitely not me!" Well, it was!

That was a little cool! Well, Magpie Gazette fans, I have to go. To let you know though, you know how I am barely writing any thing? Well I am now going to try to write every Sunday at least. So check out my site! Bye!

Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween everyone!!!!!!! What were you for Halloween? I was a Vampire. my friend was a Devil Bride! My other friend was Cleopatra.

I got a lot of candy! Did you? I went through my whole neighborhood and got a whole pumpkin full. I can't wait to eat it after fast sunday!

STUNG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I got stung by a bee! I was at a activity day pool party when a boy told me that i had a bee on me. He told me to jump in the water.i just stood still and wimpered are you sure. he told me that it was OK because bees hate water.

So i jumped in. SPLASH! OK I was OK. I swam a few strokes than... OW!

I started panaking. I felt this stinging on my shoulder.i start saying ow ow my shoulders stinging! I was thinking oh please oh please don't be a bee sting.

Than a girl looked at my shoulder. she told the activity leader that she thought i got a bee sting. the activity day leader told me to come over there. I slowly went over there. She pulled out the stinger.

it was not to bad. Raging Waters

Raging Waters ruled!!!! My friend came along and I didn't know she was coming! The best rides there, were: The Black Hole, Neptune's Fury, the Bermuda Triangle, and Thunder Rapids. My friend's favorite area was the Wave Pool. At Lunch time we had to wait an hour for our food. We started feeling sick!

The only rides we didn't go on were Drop Out, The Vortex, and High Extreme. The other rides we went on were The Dragon, The Amazon, and The Speed Slide. On the Black Hole U go into this black hole and then you go on a slanted down slide then it is over. That was the best ride! On the Dragon U go down then around and around then U R done.

I was sad when we had to go. We went over to do the black hole one more time but it was CLOSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! But we barely made it on thunder rapids. It was a very fun day. I can't wait to go back!

Fish and Grandparents

I got a fish.

His name is Bullet.

His color is indigo.

He is very pretty.

I got him for $1.10.

Gma and Gpa came to visit.

They helped clean up the house.

We went to a delicious restaurant.

We went to a fabric district.

It was good times.

5th grade

I like 5th grade because:

• I have a new friend.
• Also because my church friends are there.
• I love school

Marriage

My brother just got married. So now I have a new sister. I was sad that I couldn't see the wedding. The hotel was crowded. I had to sleep with my brother. I also found a waterfall. It was good times.

Moving/Birthday

Moving

We have been moving. The painting is done and so are most of the floors. My new bedroom is purple and white. I hate moving.

Birthday

I got a Nintendo DSi for my birthday + the game Up! I was surprised. Up is cool and adventurous. It is different from the movie because there are not any blue panthers in the movie. I spent my birthday money on the game Nintendogs. You care for your own puppy. I have a dog named Copper, Shadow, Newspaper, Snicker, Jewel, and my newest is Fudge.

Last Day of School

We watched Meet the Robinsons. We had fun. Now I'm in Fifth Grade!

Easter/Vacation/Honor Choir Concert

Easter

The easter bunny brought me candy, and my 17th WEBKINZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I named her Minty. She is a Quack, Quack, duck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 

 

The Drive

My family and I started out after school Friday. We were driving to my grandpa's Arizona house. I had homework with me, my mp3 player, my license plate book, and other activites.  We finally got to grandpa's house at about 10-11:00. 

At Grandpa's house

At Grandpa's house we went hiking. I loved it! (Sort of). The funny part was when grandpa got struck by a cactus!

The Desert Museum

Probably my favorite spot! We saw deer, prairie dogs, and even an ant farm! We were walking along and came to a bear cage and, believe it or not there were not any bears because they said they retired! We came to cat canyon during feeding time. There is this area where you can go under and see the bottom of the area better. The cats were so CUTE!!!!!!!!!!  We also saw a show with people who talked about two different reptiles.  One of them was the rattle snake.  We were about to go outside, but then I asked if I could take a picture.  My mom finally gave in. 

 

Colossal Cave

Colossal cave rocked!!! We went inside and saw the bottomless pit and a place were there used to be a living room because apparently there was a tour guide way back then that gave really long tours. It took all day and sometimes all day AND night.  It was only twenty-five cents back then.

Sabino Canyon

We also went to Sabino Canyon. NOT my favorite because I hate hiking. We rode the tram up and walked down.  We stopped at a swimming hole. I got to wade in. It hurt because of the rocks and sand!

O.K. Corral

Another one of my favorites. The O.K. Corral was a gunfight against the Earp brothers and a group called the Cowboys. The Earp brothers won.

Downtown Tucson

Our last stop. Grandma and Grandpa came over to our resort. My family, grandma, and I walked down Tucson by following a blue line. This is all I can say about it because I wasn't paying attention to the history.

Honor Choir Concert 

I had my Honor Choir concert last night. It was fun. We were the last to sing. My teacher kept reminding us though that people always say save the best for last!!

  

Don't you hate it when...

You have to be pulled out of school for a funeral of someone you don't know that your mother has to play the organ at. Me to.

The Sky is Falling

You may think it is, but I mean a large ball fell from the sky and knocked on the window and fell onto the trash cans. It was a Humming Bird! It was very hurt. Mom called the Humane Society. They came and picked it up. It was badly hurt. It had a broken wing. You could see one of its wing bones sticking out. I hope it will be okay.

Rancho Days

I had a field trip to Rancho Days. It was fun until 2 things: I learned that the youngest (like me) had to clean the chamber pots. Yech! And, I had to go into mud that was cold, had rocks in it, smelled like dog poo, and you had to go in bare foot so you could mix it up. But the fun things were: spinning and weaving, learning to do the Mexican hat dance, cooking our lunch, the games, the fiesta at the end, making candles, and taking a tour of the rancho. It was awesome!

Yikes!

You may think "Yikes?  What do you mean by that?"  Well, let's just say this:  Dad was at work, so Mom had to take me to one of her "Healthy Habits" meetings for Relief Society.  So, they were talking...la, la, la, and I was sitting next to mom.  Suddenly, the dishes started clinking.  I wasn't sure what happened.  At the end of it, Mom was all, like, "Did you feel it?"  "What happened?" I replied. "It was an earthquake!" Can you keep this secret?  This was one of the biggest earthquakes I've been in.  Stay tuned!

Honor Choir

You won't believe it!  More than half of my class is in chorus at school.  And only 3 from my class got to go to Honor Choir.  I didn't get in it... NOT!  It's so fun!  We even got our own folder!  This year's theme in Honor Choir is Jazz.  It's so much fun!  

Fifteenth Webkinz!

Today, on January 17, 2009, I got a new Webkinz. My fifteenth, as a matter of fact! It's a beagle. I named him KookieDough. He is so soft and cuddly and cozy. Webkinz lovers, you rock! KookieDough has a white belly and chest and feet, and has a black spot on his back. He is brown everywhere else. Except for the tip of his tail, which is black. Here are some pictures of him:
