G-ma and G-pa S.

So I am typing this from my Grandparents' home. I am going to tell you what we did this week.

Monday: We went to a boring meeting then we went to a store (we went to a couple but this one is where I got...) A SNUGGLE PET! My second one. Actually my first because I have a pillow pet, but it's pretty much the same thing. My Snuggle pet is thinner. She is a bumble bee and I am going to name her... Beehive! I also got some Tic Tacs.

Tuesday: I mowed the lawn! It was FUN! I am going to do it again tomorrow morning because I WANT to! We also watched Beauty and the Beast LDS version. It was good! I want it!

Wensday: I went school shopping and got a... JUSTIN BIEBER T-shirt! My first one! :) ! I also got a cute top. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa! I also washed windows.

Thursday: I went to Lowe's with grandpa. :b -(sticking out tongue going blak) It was BORING! Then I spent most of the afternoon at a pool with water slides. It was SO COOL! Thanks Grandma!

Friday: On Friday we went to the fair. I rode on rides and it was pretty fun. Thanks G-ma and G-pa! We even had churros! :-9 Yummy! Before that Grandpa and I went to the apple store, so while I was listening to Justin Bieber and playing games on the ipads Grandpa bought an ipad! Lucky!

Saturday: The family reunion! I got to meet girl's that I didn't know. I had a cheeseburger instead of a hamburger or hotdog. I even gave 2 mini tours of the house. Perfect place to brag about my Grandparents' house right? Then I pretty much sat and watched T.V. for most of the rest of the day.

Sunday: We went to church. My first time in young women's at Grandma and Grandpa's ward. Now I am doing this, and soon I am going to Grandma Great's house for lunch at 3:00 P.M. Utah time. Even though I already had a roll with butter and Raspberry jam and apples with chocolate. :-9 Yum!

Well that's it. I am flying home tomorrow, and I think I'm ready to, although it's been fun in Utah with Grandpa and Grandma. Well, bye!

Highs and Lows and Grandparents

High: I went to my grandparents house and camped in a tent in their backyard with my cousins Thursday-Saturday. On Thursday we got a triple racing slip-N-slide and a slide that you slide down then up a ramp and into a big little pool. We also went through this "Kid wash." Friday we did the water stuff again. Saturday we got to jump on a bounce house. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa! Utah people, I will be in Utah tomorrow-Monday. So a whole week, all 7 days. I will be going on a plane without any family members that I know of for like the 5th time or something. Then I will be staying with G-pa and G-ma S. Thanks! I am excited G-pa and G-ma.

Low: I won't get special attention from the flight attendant because I am riding for the first time as an adult.

Highs and Lows and Girl's camp

High: Girl's camp, laser quest, rode in a convertible with the top off on the freeway, and got myself a tiger T-shirt and a Beanie Boo giraffe named Safari.

Low: I was tired, had a few arguments with my friend, and I miss Catfish, Sea Horse, Sea Princess, Polar Bear, Lone Wolf, and Monarch (the lifeguards), and I'm sick now.

Well thanks to Sister A., my friend and I made up. It wasn't that big of a fight, but still. I love you Sister A.! You're tall, sweet, beautiful, and great!

The theme for Girl's camp this year was FBI. Finding Beauty Inside. It was SO fun! This year was my greenie year, or Cadet year. We even had a cabin cheer. Here is the lyrics and video of me singing it alone at home:

We are new but don't treat us snooty
We are here to find inner beauty
Don't disrespect cause we know our duty.
Let's go Cadets.

We got and made many souvenirs. I will post a picture of them all later.

We also got and gave secret sister gifts which is where you get to go and give an assigned person a gift you bought for them. You had to pay 5$ or less (I think I did a little more) But you have to do it secretly. It was so fun! I got gum, and a Justin Bieber poster, and more!

This camp had canoeing, rifle shooting, archery, a pool, a campfire, that was just lamps around a little fire area with no fire, and even a place where they put makeup sometimes! Canoeing was fun, I got all 5 bullets in the 3 middle black circles for the rifles, archery was difficult, the beauty parlor was OK I guess, the pool was fun, and the campfire was fun sometimes. I even went on a 3 mile hike that led to Santa Barbara's water source. We were not supposed to touch the water but some girls did, and I did too, on accident. There we saw ducks ( I think ) and even Vultures! I also saw a dead mouse I think on the way back up. And we also had to jump over rocks and that was fun!

My story and Highs and Lows

Sorry I didn't get to blogging last week. I didn't feel like it. Well here is part of a story I am writing. One of my friends helped me edit the first part which is in red.

1st part: is red
2nd part: is purple
3rd part: is pink

I'm not sure what to call it yet, so for now I am going to call it:

Life or Death

Slowly, Susie and Elizabeth walked down the street. Susie was giggling. "Oh Elizabeth, you're so funny... even during this time in our life!"

Susie looked around. Her heart sank. It was world war 2. The sky was gray and filled with clouds of rain. Susie and Elizabeth had to walk slowly to make sure they don't step in puddles. Mostly though, because they wanted to be together and they were dreading what they might see when they got home. It was a sad sight. Everyday the Nazis' were taking jews from their own homes, sending them to concentration camps, separating families, and killing innocent people. All because of Hitler, who seemed to be the harshest ruler in the universe. Susie had been taught to love everyone, but that just didn't seem possible with Hitler. She and Elizabeth could come home any day now and find her family gone. Just because they were Jews.

"What's wrong Susie?" Elizabeth asked.
"Well... It's just... well..." Susie said stumbling over her words, at the verge of tears. "We can come home any day now and find our family gone! There I said it" She said starting to cry.
"Susie, that's probably not going to happen for a long time. But, if it does, we'll be ready with the emergency plan that our parents made." Elizabeth said calmly.
"What if it doesn't work! I mean open your eyes! We're Jews! Soon enough, they'll be coming for us!" Susie said, starting to yell.
"Suzie, listen..." Elizabeth said panicing a little.
"NO! Just leave me alone, Elizabeth! I know your trying to help... b-but it's n-not working!" And with that Susie took off sobbing.

She ran right home running through the door. She had managed to tear off the star she was supposed to wear as a Jew. She wiped her eyes. "Mom!" She exclaimed. "Mark, Marie!" No answer. "Mom, Dad!" Her words seemed to get swallowed up in the darkness. "Dad!" Susie switched on the light. She wished she hadn't done that. She gasped at the sight. It was like walking into a surprise death party. She wished she could say it was anything but what she was seeing. Her house was like it had been shaken by a giant. Her family's table, couches, beds, were all everywhere. Some on their sides. Some on their backs. Then this thought ran through her brain: "The Nazis were here! What if they're still here?!"

She heard a rustling. "Huh!" she exclaimed. "Who's there?" "Nazis put your hands up!" Susie saw her family with them. Little bags of their things were hanging from their hands. The Nazis had their valuables. "PUT OUR THINGS DOWN!" She screamed running toward them. BANG! the Nazi put his gun down. Susie's mother screamed. "SUSIE!" Susie was sprawled on the floor. "Huh?" she whispered very faintly. "Susie!" her mother exclaimed dropping her things and kneeling next to Susie. The Nazi pointed his gun at Susie's mom. " Go back where you were or else you die now!" Susie's mom hesitated. BANG!
"Honey!" Susie's dad exclaimed in a very shocked voice. He looked down at her. She was OK. The Bullet hadn't hit her. "Did you just try to shoot me?" she said in a oh no you didn't kind of tone. The Nazi Pointed the gun again. Susie's mother quickly got up, picked up Susie and walked back to her family. "OK now what are you going to do?" The mom challenged. "Well..." the Nazi hesitated. "Your just coming with us!" he bellowed in a very VERY and I mean VERY low voice. The Nazis pushed them out the door with their guns. They all got into a cramped car. The Nazis turned on the sirens. Susie woke up. "Huh?" she questioned. "Where are we?" "There there" Susie's dad comforted. "It's OK he whispered. Susie's family, cramped and uncomfortable, covered their ears. The wailing car drove through the streets. It suddenly stopped. The house before Susie's eyes looked really familiar. Susie gasped. She now knew why it was familiar. That's because she went to this house once a week. The Nazis ran into the house, knocking down doors, while shouting: "Nazis put your hands up. Susie turned to her mother. "Mom, t-that's ELIZABETH"S house!"

Highs and lows this week:

Highs: I watched Harry Potter 7 part 2 this week in theaters, we had the pioneer day celebration, and I got to chat with one of my friends online.

Lows: While I was cleaning the church yesterday I got a blister in a really weird spot on the side of my foot, and I didn't get popcorn while watching the Harry Potter movie.

High and Low This Week

High: I went out to eat at a restaurant called BJ's. It was good!

Low: Church is so early in the morning! And we don't even switch off every year because the singles always get the afternoon session. I mean our ward has to wake up families, if they have a baby get the baby ready, make breakfast (except for fast sundays and I hate those to!), and go to church. The singles has to get up eat breakfast and get dressed. Who do you think should get the afternoon session. Ah ha. US!

Frozen Fire

I talked a little bit about Frozen Fire by Tim Bowler before but now I am going to write a review.

This book is full of mystery and suspense. It starts like this:

Mysteriously, a boy phones a girl named Dusty and told her he's dying. Confused, she realizes that he is saying things that only her brother, Josh, who walked out 2 years before would have told her. As she tries to find this boy she encounters many different surprises. Pick up this book and your heart will go on a ride of its life!

Well thank you for reading!
